AI & Automation
AI tools now show up in two separate places in e-commerce: in content production and in workflow automation. Each has its own rule set, and in both areas the most expensive mistakes come from not knowing those rules.
The content policy article clarifies where Google actually stands: AI-generated content is not banned, scaled content abuse is. Labelling AI content is not required in Search, but it is required on the Merchant Center side for imagery. What you do and do not need to do for AI Overviews is separated out, and the article flags widely repeated recommendations that have no documented basis.
The no-code automation article looks at the cost side. Zapier charges per step, Make per module, n8n per execution, Power Automate per user; the same workflow can cost ten times more depending on the tool. The article works this difference through a sample scenario. The KVKK procedure required when customer data is sent to a tool hosted abroad is covered in a separate section.
The aim is to see both the invoice and the obligation before choosing a tool.
